Development of Farzam Oil ‎Field and Production ‎Enhancement of Nosrat Oil ‎Field

Project Goals

Oil-in-place volume of Farzam field ‎within the boundaries of Iranian waters ‎is estimated around 259 million barrels. ‎With the implementation of ‎development operations, the total output ‎from Nosrat field will be augmented by ‎‎38.7 million barrels; output from Nosrat ‎field will increase from 5,000 to 16,500 ‎barrels a day, while production at ‎Farzam field is supposed to increase to ‎‎15,000 barrels a day.‎

Executive Activities

Workover of 4 existing wells at Nosrat field; ‎drilling of 8 wells and installation of one ‎drilling platform ,associated equipment and ‎facilities at Siri.‎

Location

Farzam field with an estimated area of ‎‎15*12 KM is the extension of Dubai’s ‎Fallah oil field covering an area to the ‎southern limit of Sirri A field. Similar to ‎Farzam, Nosrat oil field is adjacent to ‎UAE’s marine borderline and is located ‎‎22 KM south of Sirri Island.‎
