Petroleum Engineering and Development
Company was established in 1994 with the objective of
managing and supervising the implementation of major oil
and gas projects at National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
Presently PEDEC consists of approximately
500 nos. of technically and managerially qualified
personnel.
In the course of implementation of a large
number of projects both onshore and offshore, PEDEC is
working with a large number of engineering/ contracting
companies both within and outside Iran, thereby
providing a platform for the transfer of technology in
oil and gas related projects and ushering in an era of
technology self-sufficiency in Iran.
